There are several mailing lists you need to subscribe to to receive important information
The most important of these is info-studium. It's best to register here with your student email address:

How do I write to a mailing list?
Simply send an e-mail to the relevant mailing list. This e-mail will then be automatically forwarded to everyone who is registered on that list. The mailing list address is always list name@fsi.uni-tuebingen.de. You can find the names of the lists in the table above.
Study enquiries
- We generally do not forward study enquiries.
- The enquiries are too numerous and we are not qualified to filter them qualitatively.
Rules for the mailing lists
- No commercial advertisement
- Job vacancies only on info-jobs
- No Thread-Hijacking
- No HTML-only mails (Why?)
- No advertisement for Facebook-groups, -events, ...
Additional rules for info-jobs:
- Only paid job vacancies
- Calls for unpaid participation in studies are unwanted (and prize draws are not a payment!).
Additional rules for kogwiss:
- Exclusively topics relevant for cognitive scientists!
- No experiments (use the experiment list for this)
How do I subscribe to a mailing list?
You can use the web interface on https://www.fsi.uni-tuebingen.de/mailman/listinfo/list name .
Alternatively, you can send a (blank) e-mail to the registration address of the desired list. The registration addresses are list name-subscribe@fsi.uni-tuebingen.de.
After registration, you will immediately receive an automatic email in response, which you must reply to (or click on the link it contains). You are then subscribed to the mailing list and will receive all emails sent to this list.
How do I unsubscribe from a mailing list?
Unsubscribing works in the same way as subscribing by sending an e-mail to list name-unsubscribe@fsi.uni-tuebingen.de or via the web interface.
Which mailing lists should I subscribe to?
All students should be registered on info-studium.
If you are looking for work and don't know what, then info-jobs might be the right place for you.
Info-talk is for topics that have nothing to do with your studies and for general chatter. You should only register there if you really want to receive these mails 🙂
